When I was a kid I was afraid of Mr No Head/ it's OK we share space now, 2018

Torches, space under kitchen table, cloth, shadows

Site-specific installation in a domestic space

Exhibited at I.D. (The Body's Still Warm)

This work invites the viewer to enter under the kitchen table and back into a familiar place of comfort. In a subversion of childhood fears, the monsters are now light play. The dissonance prompts: where has the vulnerability gone? Where/who are your childhood monsters now?
